Louvergny

Louvergny is a commune with 75 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the Ardennes department in the Champagne- Ardenne region; it belongs to the district Vouziers and the District of Le Chesne. The inhabitants of Louvergny be called Marinettes.

Geography

Louvergny is on the edge of the Argonne on a vorjurassischen ridge that divides the geology department. A large forest extending between Louvergny in the south and Omont and Vendresse in the north.

Priory of Saint -Guillaume

The priory was founded in 1249 by the Wilhelmiten Count Johann I of Rethel.
