LT United
LT United (pronounced Lit United) is a pop group that consists of six well-known rock musicians in Lithuania. LT United was formed in 2006 solely on the ground to represent the country of Lithuania in the Euro Vision Song Contest 2006. The group was sent in the preliminary round of the Lithuanian television viewers with twice as many calls as for the second- best candidate to Athens. The band appeared there with her ironic and powerful song "We Are The Winners", whose refrain announced by the inevitability of the victory of this title. The audience hall in Athens felt this partly as arrogant presumption and welcomed the group with a chorus of whistles and boos what was already occurred in the semi-final of the Icelandic Silvia Night appearance and otherwise of a rarity at the event. The title was awarded 162 points and ended up with it in sixth place overall. The sixth place is so far the best place for Lithuania.

- Victor Diawara was in 2001 when Song Contest there - as part of the group SKAMP.
- The group was booed before their performance of many of the 12000 Halle guests.
- The English press felt after this appearance is reminiscent of the best moments of the surrealist comedian Harry Hill.
