Lucie Zelenková

Lucie Reed ( born July 17, 1974 as Lucie Zelenková in Karl- Marx-Stadt ) is a Czech triathlete and Ironman champion ( 2009), which kicks off today in South Africa.

Career

Zelenková is professional athlete since 1999. They started in 2004 at the Olympic Games in Athens, but could not finish the race.

Lucie Zelenková starts in Germany for the TV Lemgo and since January 2009 with Team TBB. In 2009 she took victory at Ironman South Africa where he also at half the distance ( Ironman 70.3 ) win. In Long Distance World Championship in Hawaii, she took 14th place in October.

In February 2011, she married her husband Kurt Reed and starts since then as Lucie Reed. The two now live in Johannesburg, South Africa.

In July 2011, she was vice - European champion at Ironman Germany.
