Ludwig Paischer

Ludwig Paischer ( born November 28, 1981 in Oberndorf bei Salzburg) is an Austrian judoka. In 2004, he was the first time on the first place the European ranking and won the first of two European championship titles.

Biography

Paischers club is the Judo Union Flachgau, his coaches are Udo Quellmalz, Gerhard Dorfinger Riesz and Bela. His mental coach is Thomas Wörz. Paischer began in 1988 with the judo sport. From 1996 to 2001 he attended the School Sport model Salzburg ( SSM). In 1998, he celebrated with the third place in the World Youth Games in Moscow his first major international success in the weight class up to 50 kg. In 2001, he joined the Army Sports Centre. When army Paischer holds the rank of Zugsführers. From 2002 he studied law, but in 2004 moved to a Baccalaureate law and economics.

At the Olympic Games in Athens, he was considered one of the favorites to win. However, he lost his first fight against Korean champion Choi Min -ho, who won the bronze medal later, just before the end, despite leadership and retired. In 2008 he was preparing for the Olympic Games in Beijing and took part in front of it in only two tournaments before making his second European title after 2004 secured. In the finals at the Olympic Games, he lost again against Choi Min-ho and was able to win the silver medal.

In 2009, he retired at the World Championships as world ranking Leading right in the first round against the Italians Elio Verde from.

In 2010, he reached the second rank, and at the World Championships in Japan in seventh place at the home European championships.

2012 different Paischer at the Summer Olympics after his second fight against Rischod Sobirow prematurely.
