Luigi Pezzuto

Luigi Pezzuto ( born April 30, 1946 in Squinzano, Lecce, Italy) is a Roman Catholic Archbishop and Vatican Diplomat.

Life

Luigi Pezzuto received on 25 September 1971, the sacrament of Holy Orders and was incardinated in the Archdiocese of Lecce. He received his doctorate in Catholic theology.

On April 1, 1978 Luigi Pezzuto entered the diplomatic service of the Holy See. He served in the Apostolic Nunciature in Ghana, Paraguay, Papua New Guinea, Brazil, Senegal, Rwanda and Portugal. Luigi Pezzuto was October 18, 1995 Chargé d'affaires at the Apostolic Nunciature in the Republic of Congo and Gabon.
