Luis Contreras (actor)

Luis Roland Contreras ( born September 18, 1950 in Kern County, California, † June 20, 2004 in Burbank, California ) was an American actor.

Life

Contreras grew up as the son of actor Roberto Contreras and began his acting career in 1977 with his film debut in Steven Spielberg's science fiction film Close Encounters of the Third Kind, and two years later he was in a small supporting role in Spielberg's comedy 1941 - Which way leads to Hollywood to see. Like his father, he was established as Hispanics to certain roles and Frequently Asked criminals, gang members and prison inmates dar. He starred in six films directed by Walter Hill, from Long Riders to Last Man Standing. Three times he stood next to his father in front of the camera, Fred Schepisi in The Ballad of the bandits Barbarossa, the action film Blue City produced by Walter Hill, and in Blood in, Blood out - conspired to life and death. Contreras also frequently appeared as a guest star in several television series, such as on The Fall Guy, Knight Rider, Simon & Simon and Airwolf.

Contreras died at the age of 53 years from the consequences of a cancer suffering.
