Lynda Day George

Lynda Day George ( born December 11, 1944 as Lynda Day in San Marcos, Texas ) is an American actress.

Life

Day George began her career under her birth name in the early 1960s. They first played guest roles in television series like Flipper, Mannix, and Bonanza. During the filming of the John Wayne western Chisum she fell in love with the actor Christopher George, whom she married shortly thereafter. Since then she has under her new name. In 1971 she received a recurring role in the television series Mission: Impossible take. For this purpose it was 1972 for a Golden Globe Award and in 1973 received an Emmy nomination. Mid-1970s, she played supporting roles in the miniseries Roots, and rich and poor. Until his death in 1983, she appeared in several productions with her husband on, including The Love Boat, Vegas and panic in the Sierra Nova. Since then, she had only a few series appearances, including a cameo in Secret Mission, the new edition of Kobra, accept, before she retired from acting.

Day is married to actor Doug Cronin since 1985 and lives in California, from her three marriages she has two children.
