Autópálya M0 (Hungarian for, M0 ') is a highway in Hungary and ring road of Budapest. It connects the west of Budapest, the M1 ( from Vienna ) and M7 (towards Lake Balaton ) with the M5 (south). The M6 port ( direction Dunaújváros ) was completed in September 2008. The further expansion of M0 to the east with access to the M3 direction Debrecen and Miskolc, M2 direction Vac, and highway 11 towards Szentendre by the new Megyeribrücke was implemented in September 2008. Thus, the integration of Eastern Hungary was significantly improved at the Budapest Airport in particular. The long term goal is a ring motorway which completely encloses Budapest.

The M0 is declared in many areas (eg, in the east of Budapest) as a highway. Therefore, there is considered a speed limit of 110 km / h instead of the usual on motorways in Hungary 130 km / h

On 22 July 2012, the upgrading of the section between the interchange was opened with the M6 and the M7. On June 30, 2013, the 11 km long extension of the line between the interchange was opened with the M6 and the main road 51. On 31 August 2013, the 6.3 km long 6 -lane construction of the section between the interchange was opened with the M5 and the main street 51. Since then the old 4-lane route is referred to as M0 Autópálya M51. The three-lane expansion of M0 between the M1 and M7 is under construction.

With 65,280 vehicles, it is the second highest volume of traffic in Hungary - on the M3 with 68 997 vehicles / day - and one of the main trunk roads and motorways in Hungary.
