Madison Keys ( born February 17, 1995 rock Iceland ) is an American tennis player.

Career
Keys, who prefers to play on hard courts is in the Chris Evert Academy in Boca Raton since the age of nine.
She is one of the youngest players who have won on the WTA Tour a match. At the age of 14, she defeated in her first WTA tournament in Ponte Vedra Beach Alla Kudrjawzewa, then number 81 in the world, with 6:4 and 7:5. In the second round, she defeated Nadia Petrova 3:6, 2:6.
2011-2013
At the U.S. Open 2011, she was the first time in the main round of a Grand Slam tournament. She won her first round match against her compatriot Jill Craybas 6-2, 6-4. Then she lost to Lucie Šafářová 6:3, 5:7, 4:6.
At the Australian Open, for which she received a wild card in 2012, she was defeated in the first round Zheng Jie with 2:6, 1:6. For the WTA tournament in Miami she received for qualification also a wildcard. With victories over Wolha Hawarzowa ( 6:3, 5:7 and 6:4 ) and Anastasia Rodionova ( 2:6, 6:1, 6:4 ), they moved into the main draw, where in the first round Magdalena Rybáriková it with 6: 74, 6:2, 6:1 defeated.
In the 2013 season she was in Melbourne for the first time the second round of a Grand Slam tournament; in round three they defeated Angelique Kerber then with 2:6 and 5:7. At Wimbledon, she also reached the third round, in which they Agnieszka Radwańska was defeated in three sets itself. In October, she reached her highest ever position in the WTA world rankings with 36th place.
2014
At the Australian Open, she was standing with her compatriot Alison Riske first time in the second round of a Grand Slam tournament. There they were subject to the Czech pairing of Andrea Hlaváčková / Lucie Šafářová with 4:6 and 3:6.
