Jamie Hampton

Jamie Hampton ( born January 8, 1990 in Frankfurt am Main, Germany ) is an American tennis player.

Career

Hampton began at the age of eight years with the sport of tennis. In 2009, she became a professional player, in 2010, she joined the U.S. Open for the first time to the individual. On the ITF Women's Circuit, she won the singles and doubles so far five titles.

Personal

Jamie Hampton, whose mother comes from South Korea, was born in West Germany, where her father was stationed as a career officer in the U.S. Army. In her childhood, the family moved to the United States. First Jamie lived in Enterprise ( Alabama); when she was 13 years old, she came to Auburn. When she graduated from Auburn High School in 2008, she had won twice the double title of the USTA Girls' 18s.
