Mae Mercer

Mae Mercer ( born June 12, 1932 in Battleboro, Rocky Mount, North Carolina, † October 29, 2008 in Northridge, San Fernando Valley, California; actually Mary Ruth Mercer ) was an American actress.

Life

Mercer came in the 1960s as a blues singer in Paris and toured with Keith Smith Climax Jazz Band through Europe. In the 1970s, followed in the United States a career as an actress, in addition to guest roles in several television series she had appearances in feature films, including 1971 Betrayed and Dirty Harry by Don Siegel, each with Clint Eastwood in the lead role. In 1974 she played in the B- Movie Football match and sweet girls, which by Quentin Tarantino for the first time in 1996 held Quentin Tarantino Film Festival in Austin, Texas was selected. In 1977 she had a supporting role in the film drama Pretty Baby with Keith Carradine and Susan Sarandon.
