Makoto Tsuruga

Makoto Tsuruga (Japanese敦 贺 信 人, Makoto Tsuruga, born November 3, 1977 in Tokoro, Hokkaidō ) is a Japanese curler.

His international debut was Tsuruga at the Junior World Championship in 1996 in Red Deer, but he remained without a medal. In 1996 he won at the Pacific Cup in Taipei with the silver medal his first precious metal. Four times from 1996 to 1999 with the former Olympic team and in 2004 with the super Mariners and 2005 the team won Ōmiya Tsuruga Japanese championships.

Tsuruga played as Skip the Japanese team at the XVIII. Olympic Winter Games in Nagano in curling. The team finished fifth.

On 21 up. December 24, 2007 he took together with Ayumi Ogasawara as a partner at the first national championship in mixed doubles part. Although both reached the final, but subject to Michiko and Kenji Taira Tomabechi, which thus Japan's selection for the World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship 2008.
