Makov (Blansko District)

Makov ( German Makow ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located three kilometers north-west of Kunstat and belongs to Okres Blansko.

Geography

Makov is located in the mountains of the upper Svratka, a part of the Bohemian- Moravian Highlands, on a ridge on the right side above the valley of the brook Petrůvka. The village is situated in the north of the nature reserve Halasovo Kunštátsko. To the north rises the Kocholík ( 651 m), to the east of the Krib ( 582 m) and the Milenka ( 579 m), southeast of the Mramorka ( 555 m) in the southwest of Kulíšek ( 692 m ) west of the Horničí (701 m) and vrch in the northwest of Křivánčí. West of Makov leads past the main road I/19.

Neighboring towns are Rozsíčka and Petrov in the north, Vřesice, Ořechov and Jasinov in the northeast, Rudka in the east, Kunstat and Sychotín the southeast, Touboř and Hluboké u Kunštátu in the south, Tasovice, Hodonín and Žalov the southwest, Rozseč nad Kunštátem in the west and Crhov in northwest.

History

The first written mention of belonging to the reign Kunstadt village was in 1374 as Heralt of Kunštát the goods in Makov, Sulíkov, Ustup, Rudka, Petrov, Rozsíčka and shares of Zbraslavec, Touboř, Sychotín and Rozseč his wife Jitka overwrote as dowry. 1406 inherited their sons and Jiří Heralt of Kunštát possession. Makov remained until the mid-19th century the reign Kunstat always submissive. Gepfarrt the village is by Sulíkov.

After the abolition of patrimonial Makov formed in 1850 a municipality in the district team Boskovice belonging. 1882, the construction of the road from Kunstat on Makov after Rozseč. 1911, a school building was inaugurated. With the beginning of 1961 the church was assigned to the Okres Blansko. The school, in 1975, a teaching. In 1976, the annexation to Kunstat. Since 1991, Makov again forms a separate municipality. Makov consists of 41 houses and 12 cabins, currently the village has 46 permanent residents.
