Manjeet Kaur

Manjeet Kaur (born 4 April 1982) is a former Indian sprinter who specialized in the 400 -meter run.

On 16 June 2004, it found in Chennai with 51.05 s the current national record.

In the 2004 Olympics, it was used in the flow of the 4 x 400 - meter relay. Together with K. Matthews Beenamol, Chitra K. Soman and Rajwinder Kaur she worked with 3:26,89 min on a national record. In the final, it was replaced by Satti Geetha.

2005 in Incheon, it was Asia champion. In 2006 she was at the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne seventh in the individual competition and won silver in the Indian 4 x 400 -meter relay. At the Asian Games in Doha she won silver in the individual event and gold in the relay.

In 2008, she retired with the Indian 4 x 400 -meter relay of the Olympic Games in Beijing in the flow. At the Asia Championships 2009 in Guangdong, she won bronze. In 2010 she won with the Indian 4 x 400 -meter relay at the Commonwealth Games in New Delhi and Asian Games in Guangzhou.

2012 led the Indian National Anti-Doping Agency a case against her because she had repeatedly withdrawn a drug test. The Agency decided not to impose the ban actually overdue because of this breach of the doping regulations after the athlete announced her retirement from the sport.
