2010 Asian Games

The 16th Asian Games were held from 12 to 27 November 2010 in Guangzhou instead. The People's Republic of China was thus after 1990 for the second time hosting the Games.

It was attended by 9704 athletes from the 45 member associations of the Olympic Council of Asia. It 476 competitions were held in 42 sports.
