Manly Council

- 33.8151.28333333333Koordinaten: 33 ° 48 ' S, 151 ° 17' O Manly Council is a Local Government Area ( LGA) in the Australian state of New South Wales. Manly is part of the metropolis of Sydney, capital of New South Wales. The area is 15 km ² and has about 37,000 inhabitants.

Manly is located on the Pacific coast north of the mouth of Sydney Harbour at North Harbour about 10 km northeast of the city center. The area includes 19 districts: Balgowlah Heights, Clontarf, Dobroyd Head, Eastern Hill, Fairlight, Fairy Bower, Forty Baskets Beach, Little Manly, Manly, Manly East, Manly West, North Head, Seaforth, North Steyne, South Steyne and parts of Balgowlah, North Balgowlah, North Seaforth and Bantry Bay. The administrative headquarters of the council is located in Manly on the coast.

Management

The Manly Council has twelve members, eleven Councillor and a chairman and Mayor ( mayor) are elected by the residents of the LGA. Manly is not divided into districts.
