Mansour Mehdizadeh

Mansour Mehdizadeh (Persian منصور مهدی زاده, born August 14, 1938 in Tehran ) is a retired Iranian Freistlilringer. He was a participant at the Summer Olympic Games in Rome in 1960, in Tokyo in 1964 and 1968 in Mexico City.

His best finish at the Summer Olympics was the fourth place at the Games in Tokyo, in the weight class " middleweight (87 kg) ."

Mansour Mehdizadeh celebrated his greatest international success with three gold medals, he wore at the Wrestling World Championships 1961 in Yokohama middleweight (79 kg), Wrestling World Championships 1962 in Toledo (Ohio ) in the " Light Heavyweight (87 kg) " and in 1965 in Manchester middleweight (87 kg) won. Mehdizadeh also won a bronze medal in the Wrestling World Championships 1963 in Sofia Light Heavyweight (87 kg).

During his last international appearance in 1966 at the Asian Games, which were held in Bangkok, Mansour Mehdizadeh joined light heavyweight in (97 kg) and won gold.
