Most 400 - meter runner shape their course so that they start fast and then try down the stretch to keep the pace as long as possible. Marc Raquil is known that it starts rather modest, but can be established on the final straight. This ability makes him one of the best runners in the final relay race, because if Raquil recognizes a weakness in another cage rotor, then he manages to almost always, these still have to be. This again succeeded impressively in the relay race at the European Championships in 2006. Polish squadron was initially in the lead, and Raquil won for France the gold medal at the finish line.
