Marcel Correia

Marcel Correia ( born May 16, 1989 in Kaiserslautern ) is a German - Portuguese footballer who plays for Eintracht Braunschweig since July 2011.

Career

Correia started his footballing career at the 1 FC Kaiserslautern. For the 2007 /08 season, he was an integral part of the reserve team of FCK. From 2009, he also belonged to the squad of professionals, but came to no duty stake. For the season 2011/12 the central defender therefore Kaiserslautern left free transfer and signed a valid until 30 June 2013 contract with second-division team Eintracht Braunschweig. At the end of the 2012/13 season he joined with Brunswick to the Bundesliga, where he made his debut on 10 August 2013 ( 1st Round ) in the 0-1 defeat at home to Werder Bremen.
