Marcos Maidana

Marcos René Maidana ( born July 17, 1983 in Margarita, Santa Fe Province) is an Argentine professional boxer, former world champion of the WBA Light Welterweight World Champion and current WBA Welterweight. With a knockout ratio of nearly 82 %, he is also one of the strongest boxers beating his weight class.

Amateur career

Marcos Maidana in 2002 and 2003 Argentine champion and qualified for the 12th World Championship 2003 in Bangkok, where he ( to 64 kg) was launched in the light welterweight.
