Marcus Banks

Marcus Banks ( born November 19, 1981 in Las Vegas, Nevada ) is an American professional basketball player who played for Panathinaikos Athens.

Career

After Marcus Banks played between 1999 and 2003 for the Dixie State College of Utah, and for the University of Nevada, he was selected in the NBA Draft 2003, 13 out of the Memphis Grizzlies but passed directly to the Boston Celtics ( getraded ). In Boston he stood for two and a half year contract and came in this period to 191 NBA games. During the season 2005/2006 Banks moved to the Minnesota Timberwolves. By the end of the season he scored 40 missions and was on average 30.7 minutes of playing time as well as twelve points and 4.7 assists. In summer 2006, Banks joined as a free agent with the Phoenix Suns where he stood until 2008 under contract. After another NBA positions at the Toronto Raptors and the New Orleans Hornets in summer 2012, he moved to Idaho Stampede in the NBA Development League. In November 2012 Banks moved to Panathinaikos Athens. With Jason Kapono and Roko Ukić he met two actors with whom he played previously in Toronto together. With Panathinaikos Banks won the Greek Cup club, was canceled before the start of the play -offs from the squad to clear a space for his compatriot Richard Guinn.
