Maria João Koehler
Maria João Koehler (also Maria João Koehler, born 8 October 1992 in Porto ) is a Portuguese tennis player.

Career
Koehler began at the age of seven years with the tennis game. Since 2006 she plays on the tennis tour, while mainly on ITF tournaments. 2012 she succeeded in qualifying for the Australian Open. In the first round, however, she was defeated Kim Clijsters in straight sets. Since 2009 she is a wildcard regularly in the main draw of the Estoril Open, where she with the move into the second round achieved her best result of 2012.
Since 2008, Koehler is also a member of the Portuguese Fed Cup team.
