Marie-Cécile Gros-Gaudenier

Marie- Cécile Gros- Gaudenier ( born June 18, 1960 in Scionzier ) is a former alpine skier. The Swiss-French dual citizen competed for her native France.

As an outsider, she launched 1981/1982 in the downhill World Cup season, in the end she was allowed to receive the Crystal Globe for the downhill World Cup. Doris de Agostini (SUI ), world champion Gerry Sorensen (CAN) and Holly Flanders (USA), they all won two races, but the victory in the downhill World Cup won Gros- Gaudenier at the beginning of the season in Saalbach- Hinterglemm, on 18 December 1981 had won.

In the 1982 World Cup in Schladming / House in Enns (AUT ) she reached the 11th place in the World Cup 1985 in Bormio / Santa Caterina (ITA ) finished it on the 14th Place.

Her career was marked by many injuries. The victory in the downhill World Cup in 1982 was the highlight of her career. 1982 and 1984 she became French champion in the downhill.
