Marilyn Livingstone

Marilyn Livingstone ( born September 30, 1952) is a Scottish politician and member of the Labour Party.

In the Scottish Parliament elections in 1999 Livingstone won the direct mandate of the constituency Kirkcaldy and moved into the newly created Scottish Parliament. In the parliamentary elections in 2003 and 2007, she defended the constituency, but was defeated in the 2011 parliamentary elections the candidate of the Scottish National Party, David Torrance. Since Livingstone was not set up as a list candidate for the constituency, they missed the re- entry into parliament.

Career

Livingstone visited the Forth View Secondardy School and the Fife College in Glenrothes. Between 1982 and 1999 she headed the economics department at Fife College. During this time Livingstone was also first as a Councillor for the District of Kirkcaldy, Fife worked then for the region.
