Marina Azyabina

Marina Eduardovna Asjabina (Russian Марина Эдуардовна Азябина, English transcription Marina Azyabina, . Born June 15 1963 in Izhevsk ) is a former Russian hurdler whose special discipline was the 100 - meter hurdles.

In 1991 she won as a representative of the Soviet Union gold at the Universiade. The following year she was mistress of the CIS and reached, starting for their Vereintes team at the Olympic Games in Barcelona's semi-final.

She was Russian Champion in 1993 and won silver at the World Athletics Championships in Stuttgart.

In 1994 she gained a bronze medal at the Goodwill Games.

Marina Asjabina hosted today a sports broadcast with the TV channel Moja Udmurtija.
