Mario Norberto Chaldú ( born June 6, 1942 in Buenos Aires ) is a former Argentine football player, who participated with the national team of his native country at the World Cup 1966.

Club career

Mario Chaldú, born in 1942 in Buenos Aires, capital of Argentina, his footballing career began at Banfield, a smaller club from Banfield in Buenos Aires Province. Here the attacker played from 1961 to 1965 and again in 1970, and made a total of 119 league games for Banfield, in which he hit 21 times the opponent's goal. A title win was not granted to him with Banfield, in general, the association did not count at that time the best in Argentina and was mostly found in the lower regions of the table División of La Liga. 1966 Chaldú left his hometown club and joined CA San Lorenzo de Almagro from the Bonarenser district of Almagro. In the jersey of San Lorenzo, he made nineteen league games and scored three goals, but remained only one year at the club. After about two years without work Chaldú was in 1968 by the Racing Club of Avellaneda, the reigning winner of the Copa Libertadores and the World Cup, obliged. National
