Mario Romancini

Mario Romancini (* December 15, 1987 in São Paulo) is a Brazilian racing driver.

Career

Romancini began his motorsport career in karting in 2002, which he held until 2005. In 2006 he moved to Formula racing and competed in the Brazilian Formula Renault. He chose a race and finished fifth in the overall standings. 2007 moved Romancini in the South American Formula 3 Championship. For Cesário F3 starting he was with two wins Jr. behind his teammate Clemente de Faria runner-up.

2008 Romancini moved to Europe and took for Epsilon Euskadi part in the World Series by Renault. He was twice retract points and was two race weekends replaced by Filipe Albuquerque due to financial problems before the season ends. In the overall classification, he finished 29th place. He also ran three races in the Stock Car Brasil. 2009 returned the Brazilian back to America and went to the North American Indy Lights for RLR / Andersen Racing at the start. Romancini won two oval races and finished the season in sixth place overall.

2010 went Romancini for Conquest Racing in the IndyCar Series at the start. After the eleventh race, he was replaced by Francesco Dracone. In the overall classification, he finished two places 13th for best results the 24th position.
