Mark Chaloner

Mark Chaloner (* May 23, 1972 in Nocton, Lincolnshire ) is an English former squash player.

Career

In 1993, Mark Chaloner his Tour debut. In his career he won a total of three PSA titles and reached seventh place in September 2001, its highest ranking in the world rankings. Among his greatest achievements include winning the World Team Cup in 1995 with the England team, and six team titles between 1996 and 2003 at the European Championships. Between 2001 and 2003 Mark Chaloner was captain of the England team. At the 1998 Commonwealth Games, he won jointly with Paul Johnson, the gold medal in doubles. In 2002, he and Johnson could again win bronze.

In November 2006 Mark Chaloner announced his retirement from the professional tour. His last game he played in the U.S. Open against Anthony Ricketts; at the time it was listed on Rank 35 in the world rankings.

Private

Mark Chaloner is married and lives in the Cayman Islands. He is currently in the United States as a squash coach.
