Marpessa (Greek Μάρπησσα ) In Greek mythology, the only child of the river god Evenus.

Myth

Apollo and Idas hold both for the hand of Princess Marpessa. When Zeus her free hand, she chooses the mortal Idas because they expected from this even loyalty when their beauty is gone. The only child of this relationship ( the Greek ) Cleopatra.
