Marrit Leenstra (speed skater)

Marrit Leenstra (born 10 May 1989) is a Dutch speed skater.

Marrit Leenstra taking since November 2006 participated in international competitions and made his debut in Moscow. A year later she was able to reach the top ten rankings for the first time in eighth over 1500 meters in Kolomna. In October 2007, she also won the bronze medal at the 1500 meter course at the Dutch Championships.

In the single -distance World Cup 2011 in Inzell she wins the Silbermedeaille in the team pursuit along with Ireen Wüst and Diane Valkenburg.

2013 Leenstra was at the World Championships in Sochi together with Ireen Wüst and Diane Valkenburg World Champion in the team pursuit.

Leenstra has not won at the Dutch Championships five titles. Among them is the victory over 1000 meters and the sprint four-way battle in 2013.
