Martin Campbell
Martin Campbell ( born October 24, 1943 in Hastings, New Zealand) is a New Zealand film director and producer.
Life
Martin Campbell began his career as a cameraman, after he had moved in 1966 from New Zealand to London. He first produced the comedy Black Joy ( 1977), which was recorded at that time in the program for the Film Festival of Cannes, and the controversial British film Scum - Scum. His directorial debut, he was with the police series The Professionals with Lewis Collins and Martin Shaw in lead roles as well as the two popular BBC series Shoestring and short - The watchdogs.
