Marvin Ducksch (* March 7, 1994 in Dortmund ) is a German footballer who stands at Borussia Dortmund under contract.

Career

Youth

Ducksch began playing soccer at age four and was first trained by his father, Klaus Ducksch, at that time coach at BSV Fortuna Dortmund 58. His parents enrolled him in 2002 without his knowledge, the "Day of talents " of the ball game club Borussia 09 eV Dortmund. The services of the then eight year old liked the Scouts and he moved to Borussia Dortmund.

Association

Marvin Ducksch is one of the most hopeful talents Dortmund's youth academy. Even in the U-19 league, he showed his good eye for goal. In three seasons of the A- League Youth - West, he completed 26 games and scored 16 goals.

In the second half of the 2011/12 season Ducksch was pulled into the U -23 from Borussia Dortmund and played his first game at senior level on January 28, 2012 against the second team of Bayer 04 Leverkusen. After he took a small period of familiarization, he scored seven goals in five consecutive games. Against the SC Fortuna Köln and the SV Elversberg he scored a brace each, against the U-23 teams from 1 FSV Mainz 05 and 1.FC Cologne, as well as against Eintracht Trier, he once met. Two weeks later he suffered in the game against Kickers Offenbach a stress fracture in metatarsal and fell the next six months. On 18 May 2013, scored the goal in a 1-0 away win at VfB Stuttgart II, through this secured the U -23 on the 38th and last game in the league in 3rd league.

Also in preparation for the 2013/14 season coached Ducksch in the pros. On August 3, 2013, in the first round of the DFB Cup against SV Wilhelmshaven, Ducksch scored his first competitive goal for BVB. On August 18, he came against Eintracht Braunschweig at his Bundesliga debut when he came on in injury time for Henrich Mchitarjan.

National

Ducksch played in the years 2009 and 2010 already for the U-15 and U-16 national team. His debut game for the German U- 17 national team, he completed on September 4, 2010 at the international match in Hagen against Azerbaijan. In 2011, he reached the third place in the U-17 World Cup in Mexico with the U-17. At the World Cup, he scored in the group match against Ecuador a hit, and in the second round against the USA ( 4-0)

On 29 February 2012, he completed his international debut for the U-18 national team in a 1-0 victory over the Netherlands, scoring in the 70th minute winner.
