Masako Ishida

Masako Ishida (Japanese石田 正 子, Masako Ishida; born November 5, 1980 in Bihoro, Hokkaidō ) is a Japanese cross-country skier.

Masako Ishida lives in Hokkaido and starts for the JR Hokkaido Ski Team. Their first international FIS race she contested in December 1997 Otoineppu. Further deployments to 2000 were sporadic nature and only in lower class and FIS Continental Cup race. At the Junior World Championship 2000 in Štrbské Pleso, the best result was a 13th place over 15 kilometers. After the Junior World Championships she ran in Hakuba and Sapporo for the first time on podium ranks in the Continental Cup. In January 2001, she won the first of these races in Hakuba. In 2001, Ishida also participated in the Winter Universiade in Zakopane and missed there as fourth placed just a medal. In March, the Japanese denied their first cross-country skiing World Cup race in Oslo and was 54th in 2003 they again took part in the Winter Universiade and reached best result an eighth place over 5 kilometers. After the Universiade Ishida was first nominated for a Nordic World Ski Championships. In Val di Fiemme it was 36 over 15 and 35 over 10 kilometers. With the season she ran to eleventh place. In November 2003 she won in Kuusamo in a race over 10 kilometers as 29platzierte first World Cup points. In December, she was with the Fifth Season. In Oberstdorf, Ishida ran their first World Cup in 2005 and became 42 in pursuit, 28 over 30 km and 12 in the relay race.
