Master Chief Petty Officer of the Coast Guard

The Master Chief Petty Officer of the Coast Guard ( MCPOCG ) is a service position of a commissioned officer of the United States Coast Guard; He is also Senior Enlisted Advisor. He is appointed by the Commandant of the Coast Guard, his four-year tenure corresponds with that of the Commandants.

First incumbent was Charles Calhoun; current ( 11 ) incumbent is since May 21, 2010 Michael P. Leavitt, its predecessor was Charles W. Bowen.
