Mat Zo

Mat Zo ( born April 30, 1990 in London as Matan Zohar ) is a British DJ and record producer in the field of trance and progressive. Under the pseudonym MRSA he produces next even drum and bass.

Life

Matan Zohar was born in 1990 in London. After the separation of his parents, he lived with his mother, a professional violinist, in Cleveland since he was a yearling. At the age of 8 years he learned to play guitar. In 2001 he moved back to London to live with his father. He was very fascinated by Daft Punk and began to produce in their style on his computer music samples. He soon found to trance music and was inspired to Internet radio stations such as Digitally Imported.

In 2007, even before Matt came of age, he had already produced remixes for trance artists such as Andy Moor and Markus Schulz. Finally, he was asked by Tiësto to remix his song "Driving To Heaven ". The remix appeared on the compilation CD In Search of Sunrise 7

Meanwhile, Mat Zo is the trance label Anjunabeats under contract and also the compilation Anjunabeats Worldwide published in May 2010, together with Super8 & Tab 02. His best-known production is so far "24 Hours ". The single was remixed by Rank 1 and Oliver Smith. In 2011 he started a collaboration with Arty, another young trance artist who is at Anjunabeats under contract. Together they have produced successful songs rebound and Mozart.

In 2010 he came to the choice of the Top 100 DJs of DJ Mag number 66, a year later he came in at number 73
