Porter Robinson

Porter Robinson ( born July 15, 1992, Chapel Hill, North Carolina) is an American music producer and DJ. He is mainly active in the fields of Electro House, Progressive House, Moombahton and Dubstep.

Biography

Robinson was born on July 15, 1992 in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. At the age of twelve years, his brother brought the Japanese video game Dance Dance Revolution with home and shows it to him. He held the sounds from the game for great, which is why his parents bought him a mini keyboard Sony ACID Pro. He began henceforth to replay the melodies from Dance Dance Revolution. Later he produced as Ekowraith with FL Studio music in the direction Hands up He currently lives in his hometown.

Musical career

After he Ekrowaith as his first single, " Booming Track", published in YAWA Recordings, he moved to the labels Glamara Records and Big Fish Recordings and produced music under his real name. His first release for these labels was " Say My Name", which could reach number one in the Beatport Electro House charts. In 2011 he signed a contract with record label Skrillexs Owsla. It appeared then his first EP Spitfire, at which he worked five to six months according to the information. You could reach number one on the iTunes dance charts and number one on the Beatport charts.

After six commercially less successful singles released in 2010 appeared in 2012 his seventh, "Language", was released by the label Ministry Of Sound and Big Beat Records. This could also reach number nine in the British charts and number three on the UK dance charts next to number one on the Beatport and iTunes dance charts and so was Robinson's first Top 10 hit.

He produced remixes for, among other things Yolanda Be Cools and DCUPs " We No Speak Americano ", Aviciis " Seek Bromance " and Lady Gaga's "The Edge of Glory ".
