Matthew Weiner

Matthew Weiner ( born June 29, 1965 in Baltimore, Maryland) is an American screenwriter, director and television producer. He is the inventor of the television series Mad Men, for which he is also the runner worked as executive producer, head writer and show. Weiner also worked as a writer and producer for the successful series The Sopranos. Life

Weiner comes from a Jewish-American family and grew up in Los Angeles. He studied at the University of Southern California.
