Max Greenfield
Max Greenfield ( born September 4, 1980 in Dobbs Ferry, New York ) is an American actor.
Life
Greenfield was born in 1980 in Dobbs Ferry, New York and grew up there. In 1998, he earned a degree at the Dobbs Ferry High School.
His first appearance on television had Greenfield in 1999 on the MTV television series Undressed - Who with whom?. This was followed by guest appearances of each one episode in the series Boston Public, Gilmore Girls, Sleeper Cell, The OC, Life and Kath & Kim. In the years 2005 to 2007 he played the role of Deputy Leo D' Amato in 11 of 64 episodes of The CW television series Veronica Mars.
However, his most famous role is that of Schmidt in New Girl, what he stood for since 2011. For this role he was nominated for an Emmy and a Golden Globe, but did not win any of the two.
Greenfield is married, has one daughter and currently lives in Los Angeles.
