Maxim Galanov

Maxim Nikolayevich Galanow (Russian Максим Николаевич Галанов; born March 13, 1974 in Krasnoyarsk, Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player standing since 2010 with Rubin Tyumen in the Wysschaja Hockey League contract.

Career

Maxim Galanow began his career as a hockey player with the HK Lada Togliatti, for which he was active until 1995. He was selected in the NHL Entry Draft in 1993 in the third round than a total of 61 players from the New York Rangers. In 1995, the defender of the Binghamton Rangers in the American Hockey League before he to 2001 122 NHL games completed by 1997.

Before the season 2001/ 02 Galanow returned to HK back Lada Togliatti, he left during the season Severstal Cherepovets direction. The 2002/03 season he spent with the Augsburger Panther. Then he returned after only one season to Cherepovets. After three seasons at Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk the Russians between 2006 and 2009 playing for Metallurg Novokuznetsk. At the beginning of 2010 he moved to Rubin Tyumen from the Wysschaja Hockey League, for whom he has performed since then.

Internationally

For Russia Maxim Galanow took part in the U20 World Youth Championship in 1993 and the World Cup 2000.
