Maximag

Maximag was a Swiss car brand.

Company History

The company Motosacoche from Carouge already presented Motorcycles and built engines. From 1922 also automobiles emerged. The brand name was Maximag. 1928 ended automobile production by about 200 copies produced.

Rolling stock

The only model 5 CV was a small car. For the drive was provided by a four-cylinder engine with side valves and 1093 cc capacity. The engine was front mounted in the vehicle and drove through a propeller shaft to the rear axle. The gearbox had three gears. The choice was between bodies with two and four seats. In the first models was waived four-wheel brakes.

Three vehicles of this brand have survived. Of these, one automobile at the Musée de l' de la Fondation Pierre Gianadda in Martigny to visit.
