MAZ-7310

The MAZ -543 (Russian МАЗ -543 ) is a heavy four-axle trucks (8 × 8) of the Belarusian vehicle manufacturer Minski Awtomobilny Zavod, which was developed in the 1960s. This truck is primarily as a military vehicle use.

History

The vehicle was developed in the early 1960s and on November 7, 1965 first seen on a military parade on Red Square to the public as part of the SS -1C Scud -B missile complex ( 9K72 Elbrus ). The chassis of the MAZ -543 was designed by Russian designer Boris Ljwowitsch Schaposchnik. The model MAZ -543 was originally designed for the transport of medium and long- range missiles. To reduce the overall length of the vehicle, the warhead between the two cabs was stored, which probably represented the most striking feature of the vehicle. In each cabin there are two people. While the model 543 has become rare, MAZ -535 MAZ -537 and are located on the model still some copies in use. There are various designs and developments of the MAZ -543, as was including the MAZ -547, which is an extended version with higher engine capacities of the MAZ -543. This vehicle is known primarily as a rocket launch and transport vehicle of Soviet SS-20 medium-range missiles from the 1980s. The MAZ - 543m was produced until December 2000 at MZKT. All versions of the MAZ -543 were equipped with a V12 4 stroke diesel engine, type D12А -525 with an output of 525 hp at 2,300 rpm. It is a high-speed direct injection diesel engine with a displacement of 38.8 liters. The mass of the motor is 1.45 tons. The compression ratio is 1:14-15.

Since 1994, the modernized vehicle variant MZKT - 7930 " astrologer " exists (Russian: МЗКТ - Астролог 7930 ), which is produced by the Minsk vehicle manufacturer MZKT. Probably the most striking difference is that the truck now has an integrated cab. In addition, the astrologer is equipped with a V12 engine JAMZ -846, the 500 hp ( 368 kW), which is able to accelerate the vehicle to 70 km / h. The fuel gauge is 1000 liters of diesel. The loading capacity was increased to 24.0 tons, the curb weight amount to 20.0 tons. It was not until on 14 December 2000 in Minsk factory, the full transition to the production of the " astrologer ". The preparation of the MAZ -543 has thus found the end.

  • MAZ - 543P: This variant was developed in 1966 TR-1 Temp for ballistic ground -to-ground missile. The main difference is that the car now had a cargo capacity of 19,400 kg.
  • MAZ - 543А: This variant was developed in 1967. The loading capacity was increased to 22,000 kg. Based on the MAZ - 543A several civilian versions were produced, such as the ARFF vehicles AA -60 ( 543 ) -160 ( from 1973 ) and AA -70 ( 543 ) -172 and the mobile crane KS- 5571st
  • MAZ - 543М: In the early 1970s appeared the MAZ - 543m, the outside is very different from the other versions, so the right cab is completely missing. The motor is placed in its stead. Will use the MAZ - 543m mainly in the military field.
  • MAZ - 7310 " Uragan " For the first time in the All-Russian Exhibition Centre, introduced in 1974. Production began in 1976. Civilian vehicles, such as the ARFF vehicle AA -60 ( 7310 ) -160.01 1978 and the mobile crane KS- 5573 from 1982 based on this version. Among other things, the vehicle was used in the petroleum exploitation in Siberia.
  • MAZ-7313/MAZ-73131: 1983 appeared, increasing the charging capacity by a ton. Also the ARFF vehicle AA -60 (7313) -160.01, and the cranes KS- 5576 and KS- 6571 published on the basis of these variants.
  • MAZ - 74106: This version is mainly used to transport the 64N6 BIG BIRD search radar of the air defense missile system S- 300PM.
  • MAZ - 7910: Since 1973 has been delivered based on the MAZ - 543m variant MAZ - 7910. The vehicle could transport pipeline pipes of up to 12 m in length and up to 18 t. With the trailer load capacity reached 38 tons. The vehicle is also used as a transport and launch vehicle of antiaircraft complexes S-300 series. The length of the MAZ - 7910 is 11.450 mm, width 3,050 mm and height 3,550 mm.
  • MZKT - 7930 " astrologer ": Extensively modernized successor version of the MAZ - 543rd Will use this version for the time being mainly for the military, for example, as a mobile launch pad for the missile system Iskander or chassis of the air defense system Panzir -S1.
