Medford is located in southern Minnesota on both sides of the Straight River, a tributary of the opening into the Mississippi River Cannon. The geographical coordinates are 44 ° 10'22 Medford " north latitude and 93 ° 14'49 " west longitude. The site covers an area of 2.98 km ².
