The Medicine Bow Mountains are a mountain range of the Rocky Mountains, which extend in the United States of America around 130 km from the northern Colorado to neighboring Wyoming. It is separated on the south by the Cameron Pass of the Never Summer Mountains and the Front Range, in the northern course forms the natural border between the districts of Jackson and Larimer, Colorado, before it propagates in Wyoming over the districts of Albany and Carbon while focused heavily flattens. The largest part of the mountain range in Wyoming is located in the Medicine Bow National Forest.

The highest peaks of the Medicine Bow Mountains are approximately 3,947 meters of Clark Peak in Colorado and Medicine Bow Peak with 3,661 meters in the northern foothills of Wyoming.

The chain of mountains drained on its western side on the Michigan River and the Canadian River in the North Platte River. On the eastern side it drained by the Laramie River also in the North Platte River.
