Mehmet Güven ( born July 30, 1987 in Malatya ) is a Turkish footballer who plays for Torku Konyaspor.

Playing career

Güven moved in the season 2005/ 06 on the first team of Galatasaray, having previously played in the youth section of the club. In his first season, the midfielder of Turkish champions Galatasaray was, however, came in the course of the season only to a short-term use. In the 2006/07 season, he played nine games (1 goal ) in the Turkish Süper Lig and also came in the UEFA Champions League 2006 /07 to a short-term mission against Liverpool.

In the 2009/10 season Mehmet Güven joined Manisaspor. Here he made it straight into the starting lineup and played in his first season in 23 league matches. In his second season he increased his services again significant and was selected in the second selection of the Turkish national team after a prolonged abstinence. Also in the league, he had role in ensuring that his team became the surprise team of the season. The 2011/12 season began promisingly and Güven completed all the games of the first round. The total second round he fell out due to an injury and could not affect the descent of his team.

In the summer of 2012, his contract ran out with Manisaspor and so he moved to the Turkish first division club Eskişehirspor. In this club Güven was only one season and joined in the summer league rivals Torku Konyaspor.
