Mehmet Türkmehmet

Mehmet Türkmehmet ( born October 18, 1980 in Kirkuk ) is a Turkish footballer who currently plays for Yeni Malatyaspor.

Career

Türkmehmet came in 1980 as the son of Iraqi Turkmens in Iraq's Kirkuk to the world. After the outbreak of the second Gulf War, he fled with his family in neighboring Turkey. The football games he learned on the street and in the school or team. In 1996 he started in the youth of MKE Ankaragucu in the club football. In 1999 he received here a professional contract, but continued to play one years exclusively for the youth and reserve team. In the 2000 /01 season he was loaned to Keskinspor. In spring 2011, he joined the third division Şanlıurfaspor. With this team, he finished the 2011/12 season as champions of the TFF Lig 2 and rose to the TFF 1 Lig.

For the season 2012/13 moved to the second division Karşıyaka SK. Already the winter break, he left this club and hired at third division Yeni Malatyaspor.
