Melanie South
Melanie Jayne South (born 3 May 1986 as Kingston, England) is a former British tennis player.
Career
South, which started with seven years of playing tennis, preferably grass and hard courts.
In 2004, she won her first title ( singles and doubles) on the ITF Women's Circuit, on which she won a total of six singles and 24 doubles tournaments. Their greatest success was in 2006 reaching the second round of the Wimbledon Championships in women's singles with a win over Francesca Schiavone.
In 2005, she played for the TG Alster source Henstedt -Ulzburg in the second tennis league. They also played four games in their career for the British Fed Cup team.
On 2 December 2013, it announced its End of career.
