Melrose is a municipality ( with a status of "Village" ) in Jackson County in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. In 2010 Melrose had 503 inhabitants.
Geography
Melrose is located in western Wisconsin on the north bank of the Black River, a left tributary of the Mississippi. This constitutes about 45 km to the west the border with Minnesota.
The geographical coordinates are 44 ° 07'50 Melrose " north latitude and 90 ° 59'54 " west longitude. The municipality covers an area of 2.18 km ² and is completely surrounded by the Town of Melrose without belonging to it.
