Merir

Merir, or Melieli, is a small remote island in the western Pacific. The elongated island is lush and surrounded by a coral reef. The main village Melieli is in the northwest of Merir and has a radio station.

Together with the northerly islands 110 km Sonsorol and Fanna and approximately 50 km north-west island of Pulo Anna is Merir the administrative state Sonsorol, ie an administrative area of ​​the island Republic of Palau.
