Mervyn Johns
Mervyn Johns ( born February 18, 1899 in Pembroke, Pembrokeshire, † September 6, 1992 in Northwood, Middlesex ) was a British actor.
Life
Mervyn Johns studied dentistry and then moved on to training as an actor, he graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. The debut on stage in 1923 was followed by leading roles in the movie from 1934. Johns, who represented most sensitive, shy or scattered individuals, participated in a series of challenging films with and brought it without ever playing real leading roles to a remarkable popularity in the British entertainment movie. His daughter Glynis Johns was also active as an actress.
