Metropolitan Tower (Manhattan)

Construction of the 68 storey stone tower began in 1984 and lasted until 1987. The building is clad in black glass and has a triangular ground plan. It can therefore be associated with the style of postmodernism. In the bottom of the tower offices are housed above are apartments.

Only separated by the Russian Tea Room is located a few meters from Carnegie Hall Tower. Located south, on the other side of the road joins the CitySpire Center. These three skyscrapers were all written in the late 1980s in a confined space. Not far from this tower is currently under construction group One57, which will be at the end of the tallest skyscraper in the vicinity. The address is 146 West 57th Street, New York City, NY.

A good look at the building you from the southern tip of Central Park.
